Housing in Barkarbystaden

Condominiums of 30–88 square metres with a lounge and reception, according to Selvaag's own project page; prices from 1,775,000 kronor. The municipality's barkarby.se says 220 homes – the developer's page prevails.

Owner-occupied apartments of 1–5 rooms, ready to move into and on sale according to JM's project page. Horisont as a whole, with Horisont Barkarby Norra around the same courtyard, is 229 homes according to the municipality's barkarby.se.

Rental apartments of 28–90 square metres. The landlord publishes rents from 7,849 to 18,629 kronor a month and, on a few selected vacant apartments, a discount for the first two years: up to 15 per cent in year one and 5–7.5 per cent in year two. The first tenants moved in at the start of February 2025, according to the municipality's barkarby.se.

Rental apartments of 27–114 square metres according to the letting agent's page, where the first 42 were occupied on 1 December 2025; the municipality's barkarby.se puts the block fifty metres from the coming metro at Veddestavägen. The landlord advertises up to 20 per cent off for the first 18 months, whatever the apartment size.

Rental flats from studios to two-room apartments in the three residential buildings Helio, Livia and Luna, and co-living through Colive in one of the block's two rounded corner buildings, according to Resona's project page. The other corner building, facing Barkarbyvägen and Flygfältsvägen, holds offices, and the street level has room for restaurants, cafés, services and shops.

Apartments around a green courtyard opposite the metro station, with commercial space at street level and an underground garage; construction started on 15 December 2025 and Titania expects completion in summer 2028. Tenure and occupancy are "not set" on Titania's project page, while the municipality's barkarby.se gives condominiums and townhouses of 1–6 rooms, 1,900 square metres of commercial space and first occupancy in 2027/2028. Nordic Wellness has signed a ten-year lease for around 600 square metres.

Apartments of 1–4 rooms with around 1,200 square metres of commercial space for restaurants, cafés and services, according to Reliwe's project page. A municipal news item of 31 March 2026 reported the first sod turned; the municipality gives 218 condominiums or owner-occupied apartments and 115 rentals, "sales start not set" and first occupancy around the turn of 2027/2028, and Reliwe says in the same item that the whole block is to be finished by the end of 2028.

Apartments of 1–4 rooms in a perimeter block with 14 commercial units and a 24-storey tower, 200 metres from the new transport interchange, according to Reliwe's project page, which gives a 2026 construction start and occupancy in 2028. The municipality's barkarby.se announced on 3 September 2026 that the first sod had been turned, and gives 1,035 square metres of commercial space and first occupancy in summer 2028; it is the third block Reliwe is developing in Barkarby. Neither page has published the tenure yet.

537 homes of 1–5 rooms – condominiums and rentals – with the metro station entrance at street level, according to Åke Sundvall's news item on the development agreement of 11 May 2026; the agreements give access to the land in 2026–2029, and the commercial space in the blocks is on the development projects page. Block 9, with the metro entrance in the building, is under construction, but the sources differ: Åke Sundvall announced the ground-breaking on 3 September 2026 with around 300 homes and first occupancy in spring 2029, while the municipality's barkarby.se gave 315 homes and first occupancy in early 2029 the next day. Block 7 is planned to start in 2027. For now the project page only takes registrations of interest.

Around 80 condominiums of 1–3 rooms in Nordr's Veddestaden, where Pionjären is already sold out. Sales were announced for autumn 2025, but Nordr's page shows none yet.
