A new district on the old Barkarby airfield in Järfälla, north-west of Stockholm. The first residents moved in in May 2014 and the build-out continues in phases – the metro's blue line gets a station here in December 2027. The directory gathers the district's businesses.

New builds are sold by the developers themselves – the Housing page here lists the projects selling or coming, with developer, number of homes and occupancy, plus Mäklarstatistik's price per square metre for Järfälla. Individual listings are with the agents and the property portals, not here.
HousingWhere can I park?
Barkarbystaden is a no-parking zone where street parking costs 15 kronor an hour or 50 kronor a day (Järfälla municipality, paid at the meter or via EasyPark); residents park on their buildings' own land. The retail quarters have their own visitor parking: two hours free in Flottiljen's garage, three hours free at Barkarby Gate and Barkarby Handelsplats. Bas Barkarby at Bällstaågatan 18 has a public garage with 150 spaces. The Services page lists all the facilities.
