Synsam opened its store by Sveatorget at Barkarbyvägen 132 in Resona's block 11, according to Järfälla municipality's barkarby.se. The store does eye exams for glasses and contact lenses, examines children from age eight and issues vision certificates for driving licences – all booked online at synsam.se. The chain also sells glasses by subscription, Synsam Lifestyle, from 99 kronor a month with three pairs as standard, free eye exams and insurance against damage and loss. Synsam has around 600 stores in the Nordics and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, according to its own corporate page. Open 10–18 Monday to Friday and 10–14 Saturday, closed Sunday.
