The gym at Veddestabron 14 covers 1,050 square metres and has windows reaching from the floor to the ceiling, Friskis&Svettis writes. It is in Bas Barkarby, at the southern end of Barkarbystaden, and opened on 7 January 2023 according to Järfälla municipality's site barkarby.se. There is a gym floor and a hall for group classes, which run every day; Pilates, Multifys, Dans fusion, Cirkelfys and Split bål are listed as popular. Help from a trainer on the gym floor costs nothing extra. Members get in 05–24 every day, and reception is staffed Monday to Thursday 15–19:30, Friday 15–18 and Saturday–Sunday 09–12, according to the association's own site. The children's room is open during staffed hours, childminding cannot be booked and is drop-in when there is room, and babies may come along into the gym until 15:00. There are also private showers, parking and a defibrillator, and the premises are wheelchair accessible. Barkarby is one of 27 gyms in Friskis&Svettis Stockholm. On a twelve-month contract a card for one gym costs 400 kronor a month and one for all 27 gyms 450; a single visit is 200 kronor, bought at reception.
