Arken Zoo Barkarby
Pet store in Barkarby Gate, Kalvshällavägen 8 – three hours of free parking for customers.
About
Dogs and cats can have their claws clipped without an appointment at Arken Zoo, the pet store in the Barkarby Gate retail quarter, Monday to Friday 12–18; rabbits and guinea pigs get the same hours on Fridays. Either way the price is 179 kronor, according to the store's own page. Claw clipping can also be booked on arkenzoo.se, or by phone for rabbits and guinea pigs. A certified dog groomer works in the store too – grooming is booked under services on the chain's website, and an appointment not cancelled 24 hours ahead is charged for. The range is for dogs, cats and small animals; no live animals are sold here. Anything bought in the chain's online shop can be returned in the store. The chain dates from 1987 and has belonged since 2015 to Musti Group, which has more than 200 stores across Sweden, Norway and Finland. Arkenzoo.se lists the store as Arken Zoo Stockholm Barkarby Handelsplats and describes it as lying in the northern part of the retail park. Parking at the quarter, which borders Barkarbystaden, costs customers nothing for three hours and is both indoors and out. Open 10–20 Monday to Friday and 10–18 Saturday and Sunday, according to both pages.
